A Wordpress Theme is essentially a collection of template files in a style sheet which creates the presentational style of your WordPress website.
There are literally hundreds of themes to choose from and whilst it may seem a bit mindblowing initially, themes will allow you to change the look of your site in just a few clicks and are certainly worth exploring.
Taking it a little further, if you are into the flashy stuff, you can even use a theme switcher which will allow visitors to view your site in a variety of themes whenever they visit.
That said, it is worth remembering that a blog doesn’t have to have all the latest gadgets to be effective. Keeping it simple with a good clean design layout and quality comment will give any all singing, all dancing, flashy design layout a run for its money. After all, making money from your blog is not about having the best design but the best content. Choosing a blog topic that suits you and increasing traffic is important.
Keep this in mind though: in many cases success is not gained by the most gifted, the most brilliant, or even the most beautiful blog sites, but if you have all of that, great, you could well on our way to managing a successful blog.
Patience is a virtue however and it is said that success comes to those who wait. So, if at first you don’t succeed, try and try again. Perfect those skills and text everything. Establish what does and doesn’t work for you, and then success will follow.
